The Home Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has issued a notification placing 150 alleged miscreants linked to the banned Joint Action Committee on the Fourth Schedule.
According to the notification, the decision was approved in a meeting of the AJK cabinet. The individuals have been listed under the Fourth Schedule of the AJK Anti-Terrorism Act 2014.
The notification includes several key leaders of the banned committee, including Shaukat Nawaz, Raja Amjad, Anjum Zaman, and Raja Shoaib.
Officials said that 36 individuals from District Poonch, 31 from Sudhnoti, 14 from Mirpur, 15 from Kotli, 10 from Bhimber, and 8 from Haveli have been included in the list.
In addition, 36 individuals from Rawalakot, 15 from Bagh, 9 from Jhelum Valley, and 8 from Neelum District have also been placed on the Fourth Schedule.
Authorities stated that the measure has been taken under the AJK Anti-Terrorism Act 2014 as part of security and law enforcement actions.
