The all-rounder will represent the Vancouver Anchors during the Canadian tournament, adding another international assignment to her busy cricket schedule.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has granted Fatima Sana a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the competition, as the national women’s team currently has no scheduled international commitments.

The second season of the Canadian T10 competition is scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 4. Fatima’s participation will give her another opportunity to gain experience in overseas franchise cricket and compete alongside international players.

Fatima Sana has remained active on the global cricket circuit throughout the current season. Before travelling to Canada, she featured in The Hundred, England’s women’s franchise competition.

Her involvement in international leagues comes as Pakistan continues to develop its women’s cricket programme and provide players with opportunities to gain exposure to different playing conditions and competitive environments.

Apart from her playing duties, Fatima Sana has also taken up an important leadership role in the form of captaincy of the Pakistan women’s side. Her experience in overseas competitions could provide further exposure ahead of Pakistan’s future international assignments.

The Vancouver Anchors will now have the Pakistan captain available for the Super 60 campaign, with the tournament set to begin on September 29.

The Canadian competition is expected to feature a mix of local and international talent with teams competing in the fast-paced T10 format.

Fatima Sana’s participation marks another appearance for a Pakistan women’s cricketer in an overseas franchise league during the current season.
