Fazal and Aena wow fans with fiery chemistry

Green Entertainment’s period drama Mitti De Baway has quickly caught viewers’ attention, with young actors Fazal Hussain and Aena Khan emerging as two of the biggest talking points after the first two episodes.

The drama stars Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali in the lead roles and is directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. Faiza Iftikhar has penned the script, while Tehreem Chaudhary and Nina Kashif are producing the project.

Set against the cultural backdrop of Punjab, Mitti De Baway explores love, social class and destiny. Mahira plays Bilqees Bano, affectionately known as Billo, while Wahaj portrays Iqbal Channan, also known as Baala. Billo belongs to a respected family in Wazirabad and develops feelings for Baala, a talented dhol player.

However, the early episodes have shifted much of the audience’s attention towards the younger versions of the central characters. Fazal Hussain plays young Baala, while Aena Khan portrays young Billo.

Viewers have particularly praised their natural chemistry and convincing performances. Many fans have also appreciated the casting, saying the two young actors have created their own identities instead of simply imitating Mahira and Wahaj.
