Google has integrated its AI chatbot, Gemini directly into the Chrome web browser in Pakistan. The feature called Gemini in Chrome was first launched in the United States in September 2025. It was later expanded to Canada, New Zealand and India in March 2026.
Now, Google has rolled out the feature to numerous countries around the world including Pakistan. Users across Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East can now access the AI chatbot through Chrome on desktop computers and iOS devices.
A Gemini icon now appears in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser. By clicking on it, users can interact with the AI assistant without leaving their current webpage. Gemini can read and understand web pages compare information across multiple open tabs and even help users locate websites they visited previously.
Instead of manually searching through browser history, users can simply ask Gemini to reopen a website they accessed a few days earlier. The AI assistant can also work with Google services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, YouTube and other Google applications.
One of the key advantages of the feature is that users do not need to leave the webpage they are currently viewing. Gemini can assist with tasks and answer questions directly within the browsing experience making web navigation and productivity more convenient.
