HUM TV appears to be preparing another compelling drama for its audience, as the channel has released the teaser of its upcoming serial *Hurmat*, starring Dananeer Mobeen in the lead role. The teaser, unveiled on Friday, has already sparked curiosity, hinting at a story that goes beyond conventional family drama and explores themes of identity, freedom, social expectations and self-discovery.

Although the teaser is less than a minute long, it manages to establish the central conflict surrounding the titular character, Hurmat, portrayed by Dananeer Mobeen. She appears to have spent much of her life under strict restrictions imposed by her father, played by veteran actor Ali Tahir. Her limited world resembles a form of confinement, with even basic aspirations such as attending university seemingly beyond her reach.

One of the teaser’s most striking moments shows Hurmat looking at the open sky from her home, apparently experiencing the outside world in a completely different way.
