In a statement broadcast by Iranian state television, Khamenei said Washington’s previous actions had shown that agreements signed by the US president could not be trusted.
He said the recent memorandum of understanding (MoU) had once again highlighted what he described as the lack of credibility behind US commitments.
Khamenei accused the United States of failing to honour agreements and claimed that such actions reflected a pattern of pressure and dominance in its foreign policy.
He further criticised Washington’s approach, describing it as based on what he called “bullying, control and aggressive behaviour.”
