LAHORE/OKARA:  Gogera Police Station in District Okara has registered a case concerning the alleged sexual assault of a minor boy, with police confirming that the child’s medical examination has been completed and relevant evidence is being forwarded to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), Lahore for analysis.

According to the FIR obtained by Minute Mirror, the case was registered on September 24, 2026, under Section 376(iii) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The reported incident allegedly took place on September 19.

The complainant is the father of the minor, who reported the matter to police after his son’s health reportedly deteriorated following the alleged incident. The child is between seven and eight years old.

Speaking to Minute Mirror, Investigating Officer Sub-Inspector Ali Asghar Bhatti confirmed that the medical examination of the child had been conducted by a medical officer.

The investigating officer said that the necessary procedural formalities had been completed and that the medical evidence collected during the examination was being sent to PFSA Lahore for forensic analysis.

He further confirmed that the accused had been taken into police custody and that investigation and interrogation were under way.

According to the victim’s father, who requested that his identity and that of his son remain confidential, the child has since been discharged from hospital and shifted back home. The family, he said, is seeking justice through the legal process.

Police officials said the investigation would proceed on the basis of available evidence, including the medical examination, forensic analysis and statements recorded during the investigation.

The final course of the case will depend on the findings of the investigation and the evidence collected by police. If sufficient evidence is established, the investigating agency may proceed with submission of a challan before the competent court under the relevant provisions of criminal procedure.
