Nawaz Sharif expresses grief over PIMS nursery tragedy

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of 15 newborns in a fire at the nursery of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.

In his statement, Nawaz Sharif said he was deeply saddened after hearing the news of the deaths of 15 infants. He expressed solidarity with the grieving parents and prayed for patience and strength for the bereaved families.

Nawaz Sharif urged the government to identify those responsible for the tragedy and take strict action against them. He also stressed the need to ensure that effective measures are taken to prevent such incidents from happening again.

The fire broke out at the PIMS hospital nursery in Islamabad earlier today, resulting in the deaths of 15 newborn babies.

According to PIMS officials, there were 16 infants in the nursery when the fire erupted. Fifteen babies died in the incident, while one infant was successfully rescued.

The tragedy has raised serious concerns over safety arrangements at the hospital nursery and prompted calls for a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire and any possible negligence.
