Speaking to Minute Mirror, Senator Butt said that the authorities had already accepted the majority of the protesters’ demands and that negotiations remained the only viable path forward.
He described the recent attacks on law enforcement personnel, which resulted in casualties and the martyrdom of four individuals, as highly condemnable. He urged all stakeholders to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could further destabilise the situation.
