LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is expected to finalize its strategy for the planned nationwide protest on August 5 during a parliamentary party meeting on Wednesday, as the party seeks to strengthen its campaign against the government.

The meeting will cover a range of political issues, but preparations for the upcoming protest are likely to take center stage. Recommendations formulated during the session will later be presented to the party’s political committee, which will make the final decision on the protest plan.

The planned demonstration has gained momentum following calls from senior party members and the family of PTI founder Imran Khan to intensify political pressure on the government.
