Speaking to the media after a meeting, Barrister Gohar said that any final decision regarding the march would be communicated by the KP chief minister. He added that Afridi would also lead the proposed political activity.

Barrister Gohar said discussions during the meeting covered the country’s overall political situation as well as the party’s future strategy. He maintained that PTI would make decisions through consultation and consensus rather than unilateral action.

The PTI chairman also said that opposition leaders Raja Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Khan Achakzai had been briefed about important party-related matters. He said the discussions with the opposition leaders also covered decisions and developments relevant to the current political situation.

Barrister Gohar emphasised that there was no disagreement within the party regarding the long march. He said PTI remained a political organization and that major decisions were discussed in detail before being finalized.

He also spoke about his communication with Raja Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Achakzai, saying he maintained respect for both opposition leaders. According to Gohar, he preferred meeting them personally to discuss important political and party matters rather than simply informing them over the telephone.

Regarding the timing and future course of the long march, Gohar reiterated that Sohail Afridi would provide the official update once a decision had been reached.
