Royal experts have shed light on Camilla’s true feelings about the reconciliation, as Harry and Meghan have now returned to Britain.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Meredith Constant said Camilla has weathered far bigger storms than the Sussexes’ 2020 departure or Harry’s memoir, “Spare.”

Constant explained that Camilla knows how to stay composed when needed. She said Camilla will go through the motions and put on a good face for her husband as he works on his relationship with his younger son.

Another royal expert, Hilary Fordwich, reacted to Camilla’s recent gesture of offering tea to Harry and Meghan with a smile. Fordwich called it a polite gesture, but stressed it was only a small opening rather than a full welcome back as senior royals.

She added that offering tea is traditionally just a polite British gesture. According to Fordwich, Camilla remains focused on the king’s health and wellbeing, so the gesture was not surprising.

Camilla was reportedly hurt by Harry’s critical remarks in his memoir and various television interviews. Still, royal expert Helena Chard said Camilla is resilient. Chard described her as playing a vital role as King Charles’s steadfast partner, with his protection as her main priority.

Chard further explained that Camilla has supported the king through demanding treatment, praising his determination throughout. According to Chard, Camilla’s main wish is for her husband’s later years to bring him peace, good health, and joy.

Together, these accounts paint a picture of a queen who prioritises her husband’s wellbeing above old tensions. Camilla appears willing to set aside personal grievances if it means supporting Charles through his efforts at reconciliation.
