Tensions flared in the National Assembly during the budget session. Government and opposition members clashed inside the House. The situation briefly turned chaotic.

The confrontation took place during the budget speech of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb. PTI lawmakers strongly protested his speech. They stood up from their seats and raised slogans inside the House.

Opposition members carried placards and banners. They demanded relief for the public. Loud chanting continued throughout the proceedings. The session became noisy and disrupted.

The situation escalated when PTI lawmaker Shahid Khattak got into a physical altercation with government members, including Anjum Aqeel Khan, Musa Gilani, and Khayal Das Kohistani. Other lawmakers rushed in to stop the clash.

Security personnel also intervened. They helped separate the members and restore order in the House. Government lawmakers were seen forming a protective circle around the Prime Minister during the disturbance.

Despite efforts to calm the situation, heated exchanges continued between both sides for some time. Members pointed fingers and shouted at each other across the aisle.

Opposition lawmakers continued their protest inside the assembly. They kept raising slogans demanding relief for citizens. They also held placards throughout the session.

The Speaker and security staff struggled to control the environment as proceedings remained tense. However, the session eventually continued after the situation was brought under control.
