Dove Cameron and Damiano David tie the knot in Italy

Dove Cameron and Damiano David are officially married after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy.

The 30-year-old singer and actress and the 27-year-old Måneskin frontman exchanged vows on Thursday, September 24, surrounded by close friends and family. The wedding celebrations began in Montalcino, nine months after the couple announced their engagement.

For her big day, Dove looked elegant in a customised Giorgio Armani collared blazer-style dress. The stylish outfit gave her bridal look a modern and sophisticated touch.

Damiano, meanwhile, wore a white suit with a sleek champagne-coloured silk scarf and no tie. His relaxed yet polished look complemented the intimate nature of the ceremony.

Following the civil ceremony, the couple and their guests travelled to Castiglion del Bosco, an exclusive Rosewood resort located a short distance from Montalcino, for the celebrations.

Dove and Damiano announced their engagement in January 2026 after keeping much of their relationship private.

Dove later opened up about the proposal during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show. She revealed that Damiano proposed at their home while they were preparing to leave for a trip.

The actress recalled that she was wearing a large T-shirt, had no makeup on and still had wet hair from the shower. Clothes were scattered around the house as they packed for their trip when Damiano approached her with the proposal.

Dove explained that Damiano knew she might have expected a traditional proposal with rose petals or a grand romantic setting. However, he chose a private moment at home that reflected their life together.

The couple first met at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards but did not immediately develop a romantic connection. Dove later said Damiano was going through a difficult period at the time.

They crossed paths again at the 2023 VMAs, where their relationship began to develop. Damiano later invited Dove to a Måneskin concert at Madison Square Garden, and the pair soon began dating.

Their relationship gradually became public as they were spotted together on several occasions. After dating for several years, the couple took their relationship to the next level with their engagement.
