Google launches Gemini 3.5 Live Translate for voice translation

People often turn to Google to find information on almost anything online. Now, Google is introducing a new way to help users communicate when they find it difficult to speak or understand English or any other language.

Google has announced a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Gemini 3.5 Live Translate which can translate conversations in real time making it easier for people speaking different languages to communicate with one another. The new audio model is designed to make multilingual conversations feel more natural and seamless.

Gemini 3.5 Live Translate can continuously listen, translate and speak allowing conversations to flow naturally with only a few seconds of delay.

According to Google, the AI tool supports more than 70 languages. The company said the technology is now available to developers and partners who can integrate it into meeting platforms, communication services and mobile applications.
