Lahore police have released a crime report highlighting the number of cases registered in the city over the past six months.

According to the report, more than 43,000 criminal incidents were reported across Lahore during the period. The figures include cases of theft, robbery, murder, kidnapping, and other serious crimes.

The police report stated that 744 robbery cases were registered during the six months. It also revealed that 141 murder cases were reported in different areas of the city.

The report further showed that 249 cases of attempted murder were recorded. Authorities also registered 414 cases related to violence against women.

According to police data, 54 gang-rape cases were reported, while 386 cases involving abuse of children were registered during the same period.

The report revealed a significant number of kidnapping cases as well. Around 4,070 cases involving the abduction of young men and women were registered, while 1,162 cases of child kidnapping were also reported.

Police data showed that burglary remained another major crime category, with 1,143 cases registered. In addition, 508 cases of cattle theft were recorded.

The report stated that theft cases made up the largest portion of reported crimes, with more than 28,000 cases registered across Lahore.

Police officials said the data reflects the crime situation in the provincial capital and that efforts are continuing to improve law and order and take action against criminals.
