Maryam Nawaz hails warden’s honesty after cash bag return

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has met traffic warden Sohail Wazir Dogar, who returned a bag containing a large amount of cash and important documents to its owner after finding it during routine patrolling in Lahore.

The chief minister praised the traffic warden for his honesty, integrity and sense of duty. She also commended him for ensuring that the lost belongings were safely returned to their rightful owner.

The Punjab chief minister said that if every Pakistani adopted a similar attitude of honesty and sincerity, the country could make significant progress. She appreciated the traffic warden for setting a positive example through his conduct.

According to the details, Sohail Dogar was carrying out routine patrol duties when he spotted a bag lying on a road in Lahore’s Timber Market area. He took the bag into his custody to ensure that its contents remained secure.

The bag contained a large amount of cash, along with a driving licence and other important documents. The traffic warden checked the available information and took steps to trace the owner of the belongings.

After locating the owner, Sohail Dogar handed over the bag and its contents safely. His actions ensured that the cash and important personal documents were returned without loss.
