Off Campus season 2 completes filming, turning the spotlight on Dean and Allie

Production has officially wrapped on the second season of Off Campus, setting the stage for another chapter of romance, friendship and hockey drama at the fictional Briar University. The upcoming eight-episode season will shift the focus from the first season’s central couple, Hannah and Garrett, to Dean and Allie, introducing a new romantic storyline while continuing to expand the world of the popular campus drama.

Stephen Kalyn will take on the role of Dean, while Mika Abdalla will portray Allie. Their relationship will form the emotional centre of Season 2, which adapts The Score, the third novel in Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus series. The new season is expected to explore the complications of falling in love while balancing friendships, university life, personal ambitions and the pressures surrounding the college hockey scene.

Filming took place in Vancouver and has now concluded as scheduled, bringing months of production to an end. While plot details are being kept largely under wraps, the transition to Dean and Allie’s story gives the series an opportunity to introduce a different dynamic while maintaining the themes that helped establish the show in its first season.

Several familiar faces are also expected to return for the new episodes, including Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. Their continued involvement means that Season 2 will not completely leave behind the characters and relationships introduced previously. Instead, the series will build on the existing Briar University ensemble while placing its newest couple at the forefront.

The season will also feature newcomers, including India Fowler, adding fresh personalities to the expanding cast. As the fictional university grows, the additional characters could bring new friendships, rivalries and complications to the story.

An official premiere date has yet to be announced. However, with production now complete, the second season could arrive sometime in spring or mid-2027, although viewers will have to wait for confirmation from the studio.

For fans of the books, the adaptation of The Score is particularly significant. Dean and Allie’s romance has been one of the stories readers have been anticipating, and bringing the pair to the screen gives the series another opportunity to translate Kennedy’s characters and relationships into a television setting.
