Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged all parties to exercise restraint amid the renewed Iran-Israel confrontation. He called on regional actors to give peace another chance and avoid further escalation.

In a statement posted on X on Monday, the prime minister expressed concern over the recent exchange of missile strikes between Iran and Israel. He said the latest violence highlights how fragile ceasefire arrangements can be.

He stressed that renewed fighting carries serious consequences for regional and global stability. He warned that escalation risks undermining ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan, along with its partners, is working sincerely and continuously to support a peaceful solution to the conflict. He said diplomatic engagement remains the only viable path forward.

The prime minister added that all sides should focus on dialogue instead of confrontation. He emphasized that peace efforts are nearing an important stage and must not be derailed.

His remarks came after Iran and Israel exchanged fresh missile strikes following a brief period of calm. The renewed hostilities have raised international concern over a possible wider conflict in the Middle East.
