Security forces eliminate four terrorists in Panjgur

Four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, according to state media reports citing security sources.

The operation was conducted in the Paroom area of Panjgur after security personnel received intelligence about the presence of militants. The action was carried out under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.

Security forces engaged the militants in an intense exchange of fire. Four terrorists were killed during the encounter, while a large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from their possession, according to security sources.

Officials said security operations were continuing in the surrounding area. Further clearance activity was expected as authorities searched for any remaining militants.

The latest operation comes amid increased counterterrorism activity across Balochistan. Security forces have carried out several intelligence-based operations in Panjgur and other districts in recent days.

On September 19, security forces reported killing 11 terrorists in separate operations in Panjgur and Chagai. Five were killed in the Gowargo area of Panjgur, while six others were killed in Chagai. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered during those operations.

Earlier, seven terrorists were reported killed in two separate operations in Panjgur and Kachhi. Five were killed in the Fateh Ali area of Panjgur, while two others were killed in Dhadar, Kachhi district.
