The festival is being organized jointly by the governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan with the support of the Pakistan Army. The opening ceremony was graced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi who formally inaugurated the event.
