He said the growing support was changing the province’s political landscape. He added that it was also challenging the Pakistan Peoples Party’s traditional political dominance in the province.

Afridi made the remarks while addressing a large gathering of PTI supporters in Nawabshah. Supporters from different parts of Benazirabad district had gathered to welcome the PTI leadership.

The KP chief minister is leading a five-day mobilisation campaign in Sindh. The campaign is being held ahead of PTI’s nationwide protest planned for September 27.

PTI has announced the protest to demand the release of party founder Imran Khan. The party is also demanding proper medical treatment for him at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad.

PTI Secretary General Barrister Salman Akram Raja and provincial president Junaid Akbar are accompanying Afridi. Sindh PTI President Haleem Adil Sheikh and other party leaders are also part of the campaign.

Afridi thanked the supporters for turning out in large numbers. He especially praised women who waited for hours to welcome the PTI leadership.

He said similar gatherings had taken place in several other cities during the campaign. According to him, the response showed growing enthusiasm for PTI and Imran Khan in Sindh.

Afridi criticised what he called dynastic politics. He said genuine leadership should come through the people’s vote. He argued that political positions should not be secured through backdoor arrangements or inherited influence.

The KP chief minister also criticised the country’s economic situation. He claimed that Pakistan’s national debt had increased from around Rs43 trillion during PTI’s tenure to more than Rs97 trillion.

He accused ruling parties of failing to address the problems of ordinary citizens. He also alleged that public money was being wasted while political leaders enjoyed luxury facilities and properties abroad.

Afridi further criticised the government over Imran Khan’s imprisonment. He alleged that the former prime minister had not been provided proper medical treatment despite court directions.

He demanded that Khan be allowed access to medical care at Shifa International Hospital. He also called for the release of other political prisoners.

Afridi urged people across Pakistan to participate in the September 27 protest. He said the demonstration would also seek the withdrawal of cases that PTI considers politically motivated.

He said the party would continue its campaign despite pressure and obstacles.

Barrister Salman Akram Raja said Imran Khan’s struggle was aimed at protecting democratic rights. He said the PTI founder was fighting for the country’s democratic future.

Raja also urged people across Sindh to join the September 27 protest. He described the demonstration as an important stage in PTI’s political struggle.

Haleem Adil Sheikh, Sardar Sher Mohammad Rind and other PTI leaders also attended the Nawabshah gathering.
