Mohsin Naqvi orders immediate removal of encroachments in Islamabad

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited various areas of Islamabad and reviewed the overall situation in the capital, including public facilities, cleanliness and ongoing beautification arrangements.

During his visit, the interior minister inspected schools, hotels and other public places. He also issued instructions to the relevant authorities to address issues affecting citizens and improve facilities across the city.

Naqvi ordered the immediate removal of all types of encroachments from Islamabad. He made it clear that encroachments would not be tolerated anywhere in the capital and directed authorities to remove them without discrimination.

The minister also instructed officials to immediately launch a comprehensive beautification plan for all major roads in Islamabad. He directed that special attention be given to roads, green belts and vacant spaces to improve the overall appearance of the city.

Naqvi ordered large-scale plantation drives at vacant locations and called for further improvement of Islamabad’s greenery. He said the capital should reflect its status as the country’s federal capital and should look like a capital city in every respect.

He stressed that cleanliness, beautification and civic facilities should be maintained according to the status of Islamabad. He directed the authorities to give special attention to improving the city’s appearance and environment.

The interior minister also called for faster practical measures to improve civic services and make public facilities more effective for residents.

Chief Commissioner Islamabad and other relevant officials accompanied Naqvi during his visits to different parts of the capital.
