Bollywood star Salman Khan has addressed the speculation surrounding his bald appearance, revealing that the look is connected to an upcoming film project.

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 20, Khan responded to online comments suggesting that he had undergone a hair transplant or was dealing with hair loss. The actor said his bald look was deliberately created for a forthcoming project.

The 60-year-old actor also criticised people who repeatedly target celebrities over their physical appearance without knowing the circumstances behind a particular look.

Khan urged audiences to focus on the work rather than making personal comments about actors’ appearances. He said viewers have the choice to watch a film or skip it, while filmmakers and actors put in their efforts to entertain audiences.

The actor’s comments come after his new appearance sparked considerable discussion on social media, with fans and critics sharing different reactions to his bald look.

On the professional front, Khan is set to appear in filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming film Maatrubhumi. The project was previously titled Battle of Galwan and had been scheduled for release in April 2026.

However, the film’s release was later postponed, and a new release date has yet to be announced.
