Seven terrorists killed in security operations in Balochistan, KP

Seven terrorists were killed in separate operations by security forces in different areas of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.

In Balochistan, two terrorists were killed during an operation in the Nok Kacha area of Chagai district. According to security sources, the militants allegedly set an empty water bowser on fire before attempting to flee the area.

The sources said the terrorists were also involved in arson and other acts of sabotage at different points along the N-40 highway.

Security officials said the operation was carried out after the militants were spotted in the area. The two terrorists were killed during the ensuing action.

The militants were identified by security sources as members of Fitna al-Hindustan. The sources said the group had previously been involved in similar acts of arson and disruption in the region.

On August 31, security forces had also killed 11 militants allegedly linked to Fitna al-Hindustan during operations against those involved in similar sabotage activities.

Security sources said operations against militants in Balochistan would continue until the last terrorist was eliminated from the province. They added that security forces remained committed to eliminating terrorism from the country and establishing lasting peace.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces following the operations. He said the killing of the terrorists reflected the professionalism, courage and determination of the country’s security personnel.

In a separate operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Bara.

According to security sources, the operation targeted a hideout of Fitna al-Khawarij militants. Five terrorists were killed during the operation, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from their possession.

The security forces also destroyed the militants’ hideouts during the operation.
