Man fights humanoid robot

A unique fight between a human and a robot in the United States has taken social media by storm.

in San Francisco. According to the company the project aims to develop a virtual reality gaming experience where people can remotely control humanoid robots and compete against each other.

A video of the event has gone viral online. Before the fight the humanoid robot was seen warming up like  a professional fighter.

Once the match began, LaPenna attacked the robot with punches while the machine responded with kicks and powerful moves.

The unusual fight quickly attracted attention because of the difference between fighting a human opponent and a machine.

REK described the event as a historic moment and claimed on X that it was the first “human vs. Terminator” robot fight.

Can humans fight robots?

The viral video also sparked an interesting debate among social media users.  Some questioned whether traditional fighting techniques would work against a robot.

Others pointed out that fighting a machine is very different from fighting a person. A punch that could hurt a human may have little effect on a strong, heavy robot.
