KARACHI: Police have arrested a suspected robber allegedly involved in the killing of a citizen during a robbery attempt in Karachi’s Kharadar area.
According to South DIG Asad Raza, police registered a case at the Docks Police Station following the incident and launched an investigation to trace those responsible for the fatal shooting.
Investigators used technical evidence and CCTV footage to identify the suspects involved in the robbery. Police subsequently tracked down and arrested one of the alleged perpetrators.
Asad Raza said police recovered a 30-bore pistol, a motorcycle and Rs3 million in cash from the suspect. The recovered cash is believed to be part of the money taken during the robbery.
